December 31st: Deal

The tall man from my dream stopped by earlier. I've begun to hallucinate these things when I'm awake, but being sort of a clown, I decided to play along.

"Are you sure you don't want to continue life, if you want I can help you"

I looked at him, for a second there I honestly believed that this imaginary being from my dreams was actually trying to help me, the same being that swallowed the meteor.

"Why?" I asked it.

"I do not care for the humans, but I will oblige this opportunity as the Vision broke the rules"

"What rules?"

"First, I must ask if you accept in coming to work for me?"

I took him seriously, I was dying anyway. I thought about it and decided that no good could come out of me living any longer.

"No"

"Well, to answer your question...she broke the rules to the grand game"

"What is the grand game?"

He explained it to me, it sounded horrifying.
I closed my eyes.

I was at peace.

December 30th: Embrace

I've begun to vomit blood. The doctor says that there isn't anything wrong with me.
Of course, I'm totally healthy that's why there's a mixture of my blood and last night's dinner on my carpet.
I feel like I'm dying, I literally feel what I imagine people dying feel like.
This is just pure pain. I would want to struggle if there was anything left in my life to struggle for.
I think I'll just embrace death at this point.

December 28th: Fever

I woke up, or at least I think I woke up in a strange place. It was dark & I was in some kind of a closed room. It was completely black, except a white line showing the outline of the room.
I was sitting at a table, there was one glass of water on the table.

I looked around. This didn't feel nice, it felt wrong. Even the city in the earlier dream felt nicer than this.

The woman appeared again, the one with the demonic wings.

She gave me a card.

Thanks for the hindrance.
Have a nice life.

She looked at me for a while.
I woke up, covered in sweat from a fever that I must've gotten.
It would explain the crazy dream.

December 27th: Christmas

I think I'm getting a little better, which is great since today's Christmas or at least the day I used to celebrate Christmas with my girlfriend. You see, our families never got along so we never really wanted to force one of us to spend time with the other, so 3 days after Christmas we would celebrate it together at either hers or my place.
It was wonderful, really...

I miss her.

December 16th: Blurb

I have a high fever, the blurbs are getting stronger, but all I see is this sort of battle like the one I saw in that dream. I can barely summon the strength to update this blog.

This woman though, is enchanting.

December 15th: Sick

I'm not feeling all too well. I started vomiting a lot last night and my eyes really hurt. It's like I see blurbs and again sort of dream like images of supposedly future events. I called in sick today, they weren't happy with me, but they never are anymore.

December 13th: Dream

I actually knew this was gonna happen, sort of. You see a week before the meteor incident I had a dream about a meteor crashing on the city. There was a woman there, she had orange hair and an hourglass figure, she had long nails & demonic red wings. She was standing in te middle of the city as the meteor hit behind her.
"Fate strikes!"  She said.
The city then changed, the building rearranged itself. The meteor came again from the sky, but this time a man swooped in and stopped it. He was faceless, his skin completely white and he wore a dark suit and red tie. His hands were longer than the city itself it seemed. He took the meteor and ate it. His face opened revealing a mouth which swallowed the meteor up.
He was taller than most of the skyscrapers and after his "meal" he kneeled down to the demon winged woman.
"Beware temptations the visions give!" He said, his mouth not opening this time.
It was a strange dream, I remember it well since I wrote it in my dream journal.
I guess remenissing cheers me up.

December 12th: Click

Alright, the meteor incident. It was a few weeks ago. I was walking down the street a happy man as I had a bright future, a wonderful job and a lovely girlfriend. On my way to work I saw a man, of course that wasn't unusual but the man himself was very strange. He had long grey hair and a grey coat. He was sitting on the bench in the park that I walk trough to get to work. I waved to him as I am a particularly friendly person or I try to be. The man was switching between looking at his pocket watch and looking at the sky.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" He asked.

"The sky?"

"Click" he said as he clicked the top button of his pocket watch.

I looked up at the sky and it looked like a meteor about to strike the city. I freaked and looked at the man in panic, the man unlike me was calm.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

I ran, I ran as fast as I could towards the station. I was babbling, sweating and panting and I ran into my boss' office and told her about the meteor, upon which she panicked and made a special announcement on the news starring me. Since I had a Phd. in meteorology she seemed to trust me, although meteorology has to do with the weather not meteors, but I get why people would confuse that.

Anyway, the entire town panicked and after several hours we had to make another announcement saying that the threat was false. The meteor never showed up, despite the fact that I clearly saw it.

That is why most people hate me.
Even my girlfriend left me because after work I acted delusional and told her about the man in the grey coat and all that.

"You are a sad man" was the last thing she said to me.

That was not a good day in my life.

December 11th: Jo

I talked to my friend Jo today, which unlike in normal friendships wasn't something that happened on a regular basis. That doesn't mean we aren't friends it just means that both of us are rather busy people. In fact I'd consider her my best friend.

"So still having problems at work?" she asked.

"Yeah...I don't even care if they don't like me, I just would like some respect around there"

"Is it still about the meteor incident?"

"I'm pretty sure it's because of that"

Jo always manages to make me feel better, even just talking to her. I guess it was her soothing Welsh accent.
I think I'll explain what the meteor incident is in the next post.

December 10th: Work

Being a weather man at a local tv station may no seem like glamour, but in reality it's worse than any of you could ever imagine. Unlike most stations where the weather guy is treated with the same respect as the rest of the crew I am treated as if I was an intern. I actually don't get it since we already have interns who should suffice, but appearantly the unpaid help is too good to waste on big important projects like scrubbing the toilet. Clearly
that is a job for a phd in Meteorology. I've tried talking to my boss about it, but she hates me. I would just quit if the pay and benefits weren't amazing and the market was better. People call me Meteor Mike because of an event that happened a few weeks ago, which is actually the reason people here don't like me. More on that later.
